"It was a great team win today," said Calvin men's lacrosse coach Dave Hoger. "Our seniors and captains stepped up in a huge way to lift us up and our young guys showed a lot maturity and poise today. We took care of the ball and did the little things right and that was the reason we were able to come out on top with a win."
In addition to scoring his key third quarter goal, Nedd scooped up seven ground balls. Fellow captain Ethan Brown (Falmouth, ME/Falmouth HS) also had seven ground balls and caused five turnovers.
Tri-captain Winkler had four goals, four ground balls and caused two turnovers.
