WHEATON, IL - Calvin's eight-game win streak came to an end as the Knights suffered a 7-3 non-conference defeat at Wheaton College.

Wheaton (18-18) answered with six runs in the bottom half of the inning however to take a 6-3 lead and then tacked on an insurance run in the eighth to claim the win.

Wheaton finished with 12 hits in the game while Calvin had three with senior Grant VanPutten (Holland/Holland Christian HS), sophomore Colton Wolfe (Eaton Rapids/Eaton Rapids HS) and sophomore Austin Voigt (Brighton/Pinckney HS) all collecting singles in the contest.
