Women's Basketball Moves Up in National Polls;
Biesboer Continues Her Journey at Calvin College

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Calvin women's basketball team continues to move up in the national rankings. The Knights are ranked 10th in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released earlier today, up four spots from last week. In the Women's Basketball Coaches Association USA Today Sports Division III Top 25 poll, Calvin is ranked ninth, up six spots from last week's poll when the Knights were ranked 15th.

Calvin (14-0 overall, 7-0 MIAA) is back in action on Wednesday night when it travels to Kalamazoo for an 8 p.m. contest.

VOLLEYBALL

Calvin senior Elise Biesboer recently completed a standout four-year career on the Calvin women's volleyball team.

Earlier this month, Biesboer also had a chance to travel overseas to the African country of Malawi. Biesboer was part of a nine Calvin students that were involved with the Mission to Heal program, organized by 1964 Calvin College graduate Dr. Glenn Geelhoed.
