Heethuis and Holtrop Honored by CollegeSoccer360.com;
Women's Basketball Moves Up To Fourth in D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll
MEN'S SOCCER
A pair of Calvin men's soccer players have recently been honored by the website: Collegesoccer360.com. Senior Brad Heethuis has been named a Division III Prime Time Performer by the website while junior Nick Holtrop received the same honor the week before.
Heethuis and Holtrop are both graduates of Hudsonville Unity Christian High School. Heethuis scored the game-tying goal in the closing moments of a national quarterfinal contest against the University of Texas-Tyler on November 20. Holtrop scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 first round NCAA III Tournament victory over Carthage on November 12.

The Calvin men's soccer team is traveling to San Antonio, Texas, this weekend to participate in the NCAA III Final Four. Calvin (18-5-2) will face Oneonta State of New York (18-2-2) in a national semifinal contest Friday night at 9 p.m. (EST).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Calvin women's basketball team has moved up in two spots in the latest d3hoops.com Top 25 poll released earlier today. The Knights are ranked fourth in this week's poll after opening the season in the number-six spot.
Amherst is the top-ranked team with the Lord Jeffs receiving 18 first place votes while the University of Chicago is ranked second (five first place votes) and George Fox ranked third (two first place votes).
Calvin is off to a 5-0 start on the season. Calvin returns to action Wednesday night when it travels to Albion for a 7:30 p.m. contest. The game will be the MIAA opener for both teams.
