In past years, the program was split into a University (Division I) and College Division (Division II, III and NAIA schools). Beginning with this year, the program now has a separate division for Division I, Division II, Division III and a fourth division for NAIA and two-year institutions. Calvin is also now located in District 6 which includes Division III schools in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan.

A graduate of Anoka High School, Colago is a defensive back with 10 goals to his credit in a Calvin uniform. This fall, Colago scored three goals and was part of a Calvin defense that posted 11 shutouts.

A year ago he was named to the All-MIAA first team and to the Division III All-Central Region first team by the National Soccer Coaches Association. He was later named a third team All-American by d3soccer.com. In the 2010 NCAA III Tournament, he scored a pair of goals and later converted a penalty kick in a shootout win over Wisconsin-Whitewater in the Round of 16 of the NCAA III Tournament.

Colago is majoring in English and international development studies. After graduating from Calvin, he hopes to work in Central America. He carries a grade point average of 3.77.
