NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships To Feature Live Results/Live
Video Stream;
2011 Calvin Men's Tennis Preview
 
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
 
The NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships are scheduled to open on
Friday at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Calvin will be represented by
four individuals. On the men's side, Calvin will be represented by junior Nick
Kramer (Dyer, IN/Illiana Christian HS) competing in the 5,000 meters and
sophomore Greg Whittle (Galesburg, IL/Galesburg HS) competing in the mile run.
 
On the women's side, Calvin will be represented by seniors Rachel Boerner
(Bergenfield, NJ/Hillcrest Lutheran Academy) in the 400 meters and Sarah
Reasoner (Cambridge, MN/Cambridge-Isanti HS) in the shot put.
 
The championships will feature live stats and a live video stream. Links to

On Friday, Whittle is scheduled to run in the prelims of the men's mile run at
5:50 p.m. while Boerner will compete in the women's 400 meter prelims at 6:50
p.m. The finals for the men's mile run are slated for Saturday at 4:55 p.m.
Saturday afternoon while the women's 400 meter finals are set for Saturday at
5:35 p.m.
 
Reasoner will compete in the women's shot put on Saturday at 1 p.m. while
Kramer will compete in the men's 5,000 meter run at 7:05 p.m.
 
MEN'S TENNIS
 
The Calvin men’s tennis team returns seven letterwinners from a team that
finished 15-9 a year ago and in third place in the final MIAA regular season
standings. Returning letterwinners include seniors Andrew DeVlieger and Andrew
Rescorla, junior Vashan Wright and sophomores Jarrod Brower, Brian DeMaagd,
Preston Phillips and Philip Reinken.
 
DeMaagd, Reinken and Phillips all recorded 13 wins in singles play in 2010.
 
The Knights open non-conference dual match play on March 17 when they travel
to Grand Valley State University. Conference play begins on March 30 when the
Knights journey to Albion.
 
The Calvin Sports Information office caught up with head coach John Ross for a
preseason outlook earlier this week and filed an audio report which can be
