Men's Soccer With Olivet Postponed Until Wednesday;
Volleyball Moves Up To Seventh in Rankings
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SOCCER
The Calvin men's soccer team's game at Olivet on Tuesday was postponed because of weather conditions including a tornado warning that was in affect for the Calvin campus late Tuesday morning. The contest will be made up Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Olivet and will be part of a men's/women's doubleheader as the Calvin women will face host Olivet at 4 p.m.
Two MIAA games did take place on Tuesday with Trine defeating Kalamazoo 1-0 and Hope defeating Adrian 1-0 in double-overtime. Hope now holds a one-point lead over Adrian in the MIAA standings and is two points ahead of Olivet and three points ahead of Calvin. Wednesday's other makeup game in men's soccer will see Albion travel to Alma for a 4:30 p.m. contest.
The Calvin men's soccer team is currently ranked 22nd in the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association Top 25 poll and 13th in the d3soccer.com Top 25 poll. The Calvin women's soccer team is currently ranked 15th in the latest d3soccer.com Top 25 poll but is not ranked in the coaches poll.
Both Calvin/Olivet games tomorrow will feature audio broadcasts and live scoreboards.

VOLLEYBALL
The Calvin women's volleyball team has moved up two spots in the latest set of Top 25 rankings released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The Knights share the number-seven spot in this week's poll with Hope. Calvin had been ranked ninth the previous five weeks.
Calvin and Hope are currently tied atop the MIAA standings with 13-1 conference records. Calvin closes out its MIAA regular season schedule this weekend, hosting Kalamazoo at 7 p.m. Friday night and Alma on Saturday at 1 p.m.
