Caleb Veldhouse Named to NABC All-District Second Team

MEN'S BASKETBALL

For the second time in his career, Calvin senior Caleb Veldhouse has received Division III Great Lakes All-District Honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Veldhouse has been named to the NABC All-District second team.

Veldhouse averaged 12.9 points and 3.6 rebounds a game this year while connecting on 69 of 88 (.784) of his free throw attempts. Veldhouse also connected on 39 three-point field goals and finished his career with 215 three-pointers to finish second on the Calvin career three-point field goal list. He also concluded his Calvin career with 1,627 points, ranking seventh on the all-time Calvin career scoring list.

Veldhouse was one of two players from the MIAA to receive all-district honors as Jesse Reimink (Hope) was named to the first team.

Veldhouse was also a second team selection last year.
