A native of Tinley Park, Illinois, Ribbens is receiving all-region accolades for the first time in her career. This fall, Ribbens led Calvin in scoring with 34 points on the strength of 12 goals and 10 assists. Three of her goals this season were game-winners. A graduate of Victor J. Andrew High School, she finished her career ranked among Calvin's top 10 in goals, assists and points. Earlier this fall, Ribbens was named to the All-MIAA first team for the third time in her career.
A native of St. Charles, Missouri, Sulzer is also receiving Great Lakes All-Region honors for the first time. A goalkeeper, Sulzer was 7-2-2 in goal for the Knights this fall along with a sparkling 0.35 goals-against-average as she allowed only four goals in over 1,000 minutes of game time. A graduate of Whitfield High School, Sulzer was also credited with 38 saves. Like Ribbens, Sulzer was also named to the All-MIAA first team this fall.
Under the direction of head coach Mark Recker, the Calvin women's soccer team finished 18-2-2 this fall, capturing its fourth consecutive MIAA title.
