Knights are now 29-0-1 against MIAA competition dating back to the 2005

Ranked seventh nationally, Calvin took a 1-0 lead against Olivet (6-7-1

(Chesterton, IN/Chesterton HS) with Schnabel jumping on a rebound off a shot
taken by senior Elizabeth Ribbens (Tinley Park, IL/Victor J. Andrew HS) and
poking the ball into the net for her third goal of the season.
Three minutes into the second half, junior Emily Ottenhoff (Palos Heights,
IL/Chicago Christian HS) picked up her team-leading 10th goal of the year to
give the Knights a 2-0 advantage. The goal came off a corner kick struck by
sophomore Mindy Capisciolto (Hudsonville/Unity Christian HS) that was cleared
out momentarily by the Olivet defense but landed at the feet of Ottenhoff.
Ottenhoff then blasted the ball from 25 yards out over the keeper's shoulder.
Calvin closed out the scoring in the 68th minute of play with Ribbens and
Schnabel hooking up for yet another score. The play began with a Schnabel cross
and concluded with a Ribbens finish into the back of the net for her seventh
goal of the year.
