CALVIN SWIM COACH REFLECTS ON OLYMPIC GAMES/LOOKS AHEAD TO NEW FACILITY

The Calvin sports information department sat down for an interview with Calvin swim coach Dan Gelderloos to reflect on the recenctly completed Summer Olympic Games. In the interview, Gelderloos reflected on the incredible achievements of Michael Phelps, the performances by the U.S. Men's and Women's Swim teams as a whole and the lessons learned this past year from former U.S. Olympic swimmer Josh Davis.

Gelderloos then gives his thoughts on the on-going construction with the Vennema Aquatic Center on campus, new swim suit technology and its affect on collegiate swimming and a few tidbits on how some of his current and former swimmers are fairing in triathlons.
