The Calvin men's cross country team will be seeking its 19th straight league
crown on Saturday. Calvin's current streak of 18 crowns is the
second-longest MIAA Championship streak in MIAA athletics history. A year ago,
the Calvin women's cross country team saw its 16-year championship run come
to an end as Hope College took the title. Calvin took first place at the MIAA
jamboree back on September 24 and will be looking to claim its 17th league
crown.
For a look at Calvin men's cross country runner Tim Finnegan, please visit
the Wisconsin-based dcrunner.org web site at:

The Calvin sports information office acknowledges that sections of the
dcrunner.org web site contains rough language. However, the Calvin sports
information office feels that the Finnegan interview fits the mission of Calvin
College, particularly with Finnegan as an agent of renewal in a broken world.
