MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM TO BE PART OF CBS SPORTS BROADCAST SPECIAL ON
CHRISTMAS DAY
The Calvin College national championship men's cross country team will be
included in a special that will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network on
Dec. 25 at 3:30 PM (EST). The special will feature footage, clips and features
from some of the NCAA's Fall Championship events and will include footage and
interviews from the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country
Championships that were held November 20 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
At the championships, several Calvin athletes and selected fans were
interviewed including Gilbert Yazzie, uncle of Calvin senior standout Andy
Yazzie of Rehoboth, New Mexico.
