CSR (Aultman & Winkle Named to D3hoops.com Great Lakes All-Region Teams)

CALVIN BASKETBALL PLAYERS RECEIVE ALL-REGION HONORS FROM D3HOOPS.COM

A pair of Calvin basketball players have received Great Lakes All-Region
honors from D3hoops.com. On the men's side, Calvin junior Dan Aultman has been
named to the Great Lakes All-Region third team while freshman Lisa Winkle has
received the same honor on the women's side.

A forward, Aultman hails from Ludington and is a graduate of Mason County
Central High School. This past year, he led the Knights in scoring with an
average of 16.5 ppg while also averaging 4.9 rebounds a game and connecting on
53.6 percent of his field goal attempts.

Also a forward, Winkle hails from Grand Rapids and is a graduate of Grand
Rapids South Christian High School. This is her second honor of the year from
D3hoops.com as she was named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week
earlier this year. Winkle averaged 12.7 points and 7.1 rebounds a game this
year while also averaging 2.5 blocked shots per-game along with a field goal
percentage of 59.3%. She has been among the NCAA III leaders in field goal
percentage and blocked shots per-game this year.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at
the various schools, who were contacted several times as the season wound down
to make their players eligible. The ballot was then distributed to regional
SIDs, who voted for 10 players. As a change this season, SIDs voted for 6
frontcourt players and four backcourt players, to insure balance. Regions that
have fewer than 40 Division III teams have two teams, while all other regions
have three teams.
