CALVIN SPORTS REPORT EXTRA FOR DECEMBER 5, 2003

WOMEN'S SOCCER

In an earlier report today regarding the NCAA Division III Great Lakes
All-Region teams in women's soccer, former Calvin standout Tricia Dyk was
listed as a member of the 2002 Great Lakes All-Region third team. Dyk in fact,
was a member of the first team in 2002. Calvin's most recent all-region
selection - Sarah Weesies - was named to the third team this fall. Weesies was
one of just five freshmen to receive Great Lakes All-Region honors this fall.
Other freshmen to receive all-region honors in the Great Lakes region included
Hope freshman goaltender Holly Nestle (1st team), Otterbein freshman defender
Rachel Reitter (2nd team), Denison freshman forward Anne Young (2nd team) and
Otterbein freshman midfielder Jenna Brader (3rd team).
