CALVIN SPORTS REPORT FOR Friday, NOV. 15

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

The nationally-ranked Calvin men's and women's cross country teams will compete
at the Great Lakes Regionals tomorrow at the Hawthorine Hills Golf Club with
Ohio Northern University serving as host. Ranked ninth in the latest NCAA III
men's cross country poll, the Calvin men will compete in the 8K event beginning
at 11:00 a.m.

The Calvin women are ranked fifth in the latest NCAA III Women's cross country
poll. The women's 6K race will begin at noon.

A live real audio broadcast of both races are scheduled to be aired via the
Calvin web site beginning 10 minutes before the start of the men's race. Calvin
sports information director Jeff Febus and assistant men's and women's cross
country coach Robert Hyde will provide the details and commentary on the
broadcast. Links to the broadcast can be accessed from the Calvin sport

The top two finishing teams in each race will advance to the NCAA III
Championships next Saturday in Northfield, Minnesota.
