Calvin senior Tricia Dyk continues to move up the Calvin career scoring charts.
This past week in conference games against Hope and Adrian, Dyk tallied two
goals and four assists to bring her career totals to 60 goals, 34 assists and
154 points. All four of her assists came in a 7-1 win over Adrian Saturday
afternoon.
A native of Grand Haven and a graduate of Western Michigan Christian High
School, Dyk now stands in second place on the Calvin career list for goals and
points as she moved past 1995 Calvin graduate Kristin Penzotti-Mast this week in
both statistical categories. Dyk also moved into third place on the Calvin
career list for assists and is three assists behind Mast for second place.
In conference games, Dyk is eight on the MIAA career list for goals (42) and
assists (26) and is seventh in points (110). Jennifer Russell of Kalamazoo is
the MIAA career leader in all three categories with 89 goals, 39 assists and 217
points.
Calvin returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts two-time defending MIAA
champion Albion at 4:00 p.m.. The game will be broadcast via real audio at
WW.Calvin.edu/sports with the pre-game set for 3:45 p.m.. Calvin will carry a
4-3 overall record and 1-1 MIAA mark into Tuesday's contest.
