Calvin stretched its win streak to three games while also handing Grove City

in the 52nd minute of play that gave Calvin a 2-1 lead. Her assist was her
fourth of the year and 30th of her career which moved her into a tie for fourth
place on the Calvin career list with 1992 Calvin graduate Melissa
VanHeukelem-Lamie. Lamie was there to witness Dyk's assist as she serves as
the head coach of the Grove City College women's soccer team.
Ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region, Calvin received a game-clinching goal
by senior Stephanie Kooima (Unity Christian) in the 65th minute of play as she
cranked in a shot from 15 yards out after receiving a pass in the box from
junior Dana Haan (Lynden, WA). Also chalking up assists for Calvin on Saturday

Grove City outshot Calvin 17-14 but senior goaltender Leah VanderPloeg (Unity
Christian) was strong in goal for the Knights, collecting eight saves. The
victory was the 27th of VanderPloeg's collegiate career and moved her to
within one win of 1991 Calvin graduate Lynn Bulten who is 3rd on the all-time
Calvin list.

gained an 11-0 victory over Concordia University (MI) on the second day of
competition at the Cal Bergsma Memorial Tournament. Hope captured the
tournament title with a 2-1 win over Wisconsin-Oshkosh Saturday in Holland.
In its win over Concordia, Calvin received hat-trick performances from

and Kool would then score goals in the next four minutes with sophomore Joel
Veldhouse (Sioux Falls, SD) assisting on both plays. Freshman John VanWylen
