senior Jason DeJonge was named to the Great Lakes All-Region second team
and senior Marcus Byeman to the third team.
A senior forward this fall, DeJonge is receiving all-region honors for
the first time in his career. A native of Muskegon and a graduate of
Western Michigan Christian High School, DeJonge led Calvin in goals and
points with 21 goals and 42 points on the year. During the year, he was
named MIAA Player of the Week once and was named to the All-MIAA first

of the Week, Byeman chalked up 10 goals and 22 assists in his Calvin
career for a total of 42 points. Byeman picked up 21 of his assists in
conference games, ranking him ninth all-time on the MIAA men's soccer
