More about what you can expect
Be matched with a course that interests you and be taught by a professor who is a committed Christian and loves teaching.
You’ll learn alongside other Entrada students and current Calvin students. You’ll also get your own academic coach who will help you do your very best.
You’ll learn a lot! That means you’ll earn college credits that count towards your degree at Calvin or a different school of your choice.
(The Calvin registrar’s office can assist with transferring your credits.)
Make friends! You’ll live in the dorms with your fellow Entrada students and enjoy college campus benefits like the gymnasium, pool, and dining hall.
You’ll also gain access to campus activities like worship services, Bible studies, plus service learning opportunities in the Grand Rapids community.
Entrada Scholars get between $6,000–$10,000 in scholarships which renew each year they’re an undergraduate student at Calvin.
The $10,000 includes a $4,000 Entrada Scholars award, a $4,000 Mosaic Award, and the $2,000 Visit Grant—plus an additional $3,000 award if you’re the first student in your immediate family to complete a bachelor’s degree.
At its core, Calvin does a great job of embracing diversity. And Entrada offered me a multicultural experience to hear other people’s stories.

Consider getting involved!
I was in my comfort zone, but Entrada put me in a space that I was unfamiliar with. I didn't grow up seeing different backgrounds and experiences, so Entrada showed me the value in that diversity and how I can learn from others' stories.
