Proxy Access allows you to authorize a parent or legal guardian with a valid e-mail address online access to your academic record and financial aid information. Each Proxy Profile (parent) must have a unique e-mail address; there cannot be multiple proxy users attached to one e-mail address.

  1. Access self service (selfservice.calvin.edu) and click View/Add Proxy Access from the dropdown under your username in the upper right hand corner.
  2. Choose a proxy to be added in the Select a Proxy dropdown. Only people eligible for proxy access will appear in the dropdown. This includes people who have a valid email address with Calvin and are defined as having a parent, stepparent, grandparent, or guardian relationship to you.
  3. Choose the Access you would like to grant your proxy. You can allow complete access to all of your financial aid, grades, and notifications, or you can choose individual items.
  4. Click to agree to Calvin's Disclosure Agreement and click save.

After you have added a person to your Self-Service account as a proxy, that person will receive an email notification containing login instructions. For more information, please refer to proxy frequently asked questions and to the help within Self-Service.
