Model United Nations (MUN)

Model United Nations provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge of the international politics and issues faced by the nations of the world. We also strengthen our skills in public speaking, research, diplomacy, alliance forming, and adaptability through simulation in the annual Model United Nations conference in Chicago.

Calvin students from a variety of majors represent a different country every year in the simulation. In November of 2018, Calvin students represented Mexico.

There is a travel fee associated with this conference. There is some funding available to cover the fee, if it is a financial hardship. Please contact Margie Styf for more information.
