Basic information

IEEE at Calvin is a chapter of the largest professional organization in the world for electrical and computer engineering.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), is an organization that is at the forefront of research and design in most of the high-tech applications today.

Students who are members of the Calvin IEEE student chapter will network with professionals about topics in electrical and computer engineering. There are also many opportunities for group activities such as tours of different businesses in the engineering field, seminars on topics relating to electrical/computer engineering, peer advising meetings, and social events like bowling and pumpkin carving.

Members of the national society will receive an IEEE Spectrum and an IEEE Potentials magazine with a membership. Read more about IEEE in the Calvin Chimes.
