Welcome to Calvin’s campus!

Whether this is your first adventure away from home, or one of many different living situations you’ve had growing up, we’re confident you’ll find your place here. From roommates and suitemates (folks with whom you’ll share your suite), to new friends on your floor and in your halls, you’ll be blessed with relationships and connections. From supportive staff to a wide variety of student organizations and events, you’ll be blessed with opportunities and resources. You can’t help but come away from this experience changed—as a Christian, as a citizen, and as a learner.

  • Instructions for new students
    1. Please print a copy of the map and car sign that corresponds to your residence hall or Knollcrest East apartment assignment. We ask that you place the car sign on the dashboard of the driver side of your car when you arrive on campus. This helps Campus Safety direct you when you arrive.
    2. Please proceed to your designated unloading area. Calvin students will be available to help you transport your items from your car to your building. We ask that one member of your party stay with your car at all times and that your vehicle be immediately moved to your designated parking lot once the car is unloaded.
    3. Move in day for students arriving from domestic locations is the evening of Wednesday, August 25 and the morning of Thursday August 26. If you are involved in IMPACT orientation, you may arrive on August 23. If you are involved in International  Orientation, you may arrive on August 22.
  • Instructions for returning students
    1. Returning students are scheduled for move-in on Friday, August 27–Sunday, August 29. Please use the maps to see the traffic-flow plans for your residence hall or Knollcrest East apartment.
    2. Please feel free to contact our offices if you have any questions or concerns. For residence hall move-in questions, please call the housing office at (616) 526-6120. For orientation or QUEST questions, please call the orientation office at (616) 526-8507.
