The search for Calvin’s 12^th president

In 2021, an international search for Calvin’s 12^th president was underway. The search committee sought a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates. Nearly 1,000 Calvin community stakeholders provided input through survey responses and listening sessions. That input guided the committee in preparing a position profile, which presented both the desired attributes of the university’s 12^th leader and the institution’s current reality and future vision.

The committee was responsible for recommending a candidate to the Calvin University Board of Trustees by March 1, 2022. This is a major task, and the committee asked the Calvin community to join in helping to identify the institution’s 12^th president.
