TRANSITIONS is a program for new first-year and transfer students who are starting Calvin for the interim or spring semester. As an adult family member, we invite you to attend sessions designed for you during the first afternoon. The remainder of the program is designed for your student.

Your student’s TRANSITIONS program will have two parts if they are coming for Interim. For Interim students, Part I is on January 5, 2016 from 11:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Parents are invited to attend Part I. Part II for Interim will be advising appointments on January 8 and a lunch on January 14 from 12:15–1:45 p.m. to discuss opportunities to get involved at Calvin.

For spring students, TRANSITIONS is a two-day orientation program starting January 28, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. and goes through January 29. Parents are invited to attend on January 28. This will include meeting with an advisor to confirm your class schedule, learning about opportunities at Calvin, as well as a Grand Rapids outing!
