Take Calvin’s ENGR 202 class and learn some German language and culture with the Technische Universität Berlin.

Stay in Berlin Germany for 6 weeks after one week on Calvin’s campus. You will explore Berlin and various locations in Germany including Heidelberg, Koblenz, Köln and Wittenberg.

A study of fundamental principles of mechanics and their application to the problems of engineering. Vector algebra, forces, moments, couples, friction, virtual work, kinematics of a particle, kinematics of a rigid body, dynamics of particles and rigid bodies, impulse, momentum, work, and energy are presented in two and three dimensions.

Program schedule

  • July 11, 2022: meet on campus for one week, with the option of students living in KE apartments
  • July 15, 2022: travel as a group to Berlin
  • August 27: students return to USA
