Would you like to feel stronger? To learn coping skills for managing your emotions? To connect with peers and professionals who understand you and want to help? The Center for Counseling and Wellness is here for you! Check out these great seminars, workshops and groups offered for free on campus.

Not sure which resource is right for you? Set up a brief screening at the Center for Counseling and Wellness to discuss your goals with a counselor. Given that a wide variety of personal difficulties are best addressed in the context of a seminar, workshop, or group, students seeking other services at Center for Counseling and Wellness will be asked to complete one of these services as a first point of service. Data shows that students report higher benefit from group therapy as compared to individual therapy at the Center for Counseling and Wellness in a variety of areas. We hope that you’ll join us.

To sign up for a seminar, workshop, or group, click the sign-up button on this webpage. Or stop by our office (SC368), call us at 616–526–6123, or email us at counseling@calvin.edu. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Workshops meet for three sessions and provide students with specific tools for emotional wellness. All workshops are confidential and are facilitated by a Center for Counseling and Wellness counselor. See workshop topics & schedules below.
