The communications and marketing team is here to help the Calvin community clearly communicate the college’s mission, identity and brand. Through various media, including print, web and social, we provide strategy and services to clients across the college.
While we offer the services detailed below individually, we are committed to helping you think through your project in a comprehensive way. With an integrated marketing mindset, we will partner with you to create clear, consistent and compelling messages about Calvin in various media.

Editorial & content

Graphic & print
- Create visual interest with brand-centric imagery. Bring us your ideas and we will illuminate them with visuals and media strategies to reach your audience in a powerful way. We do more than catch the eye; we design for strategic goals, using best practices and the flexibility of creative solutions.
Web & digital
- The C&M webteam creates and maintains the primary website for the college. Using a content management system (dotCMS), we can develop and easily maintain all subpages of calvin.edu. We also provide templates for and assistance with email newsletters, online forms, registration and e-commerce.
News & publications
- From Spark to Verge to the News & Stories website, we share Calvin happenings with a variety of audiences. We dive deep into the stories that matter, enriching and empowering readers to take the next step in their exploration of Calvin.
- Enter the global conversation on social media by partnering with our team of social strategists. You’ll unleash the potential to reach new audiences and to engage current audiences in powerful ways through social content.
