DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:In Summer 2016 I worked with several students on two projects: the dynamics of lead propagation in the human body, and opinion formation in networks. In both projects much of the work was devoted to figuring out to come up with a reasonable mathematical model that was amenable to some kind of analysis. I will talk about this process, and perhaps present some of the results.=0D=0ARefreshments precede the talk at 3:30 p.m., in NH 282.
