Adam Caress has spent the past 20 years working in the music industry as a songwriter, performer, recording artist, booking agent, talent buyer, writer, and editor. He currently teaches in the Music Business program at Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina. His first book, The Day Alternative Music Died: Dylan, Zeppelin, Punk, Glam, Alt, Majors, Indies, and the Struggle between Art and Money for the Soul of Rock, was published in 2015 by New Troy Books.
