Biography

Jessica Louise Coe is a native of Grand Rapids who enjoys an active singing and teaching schedule.  She has appeared as soloist with opera and choral companies throughout the Midwest and enjoys premiering new works as well as presenting recitals of little-performed art song.  While receiving her education in voice performance, she was a teaching artist at The Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago before returning to West Michigan and holding teaching appointments at Aquinas College, Western Michigan University, and Kalamazoo College, where she continues to teach.  She is a frequent adjudicator and has served on the boards of the Chicago Chapter of NATS, (The National Association of Teachers of Singing), and the education committee with Opera Grand Rapids.  For more information, please visit www.jessicalouisecoe.com
