Soccer Camps

Various soccer camps for boys and girls, ages 7-18

Session information

SESSION A

Monday-Thursday, June 26-29, 9:00am–2:00pm (bring your own lunch)

Cost: $180.00 ($90.00 deposit required)

Youth Camp (full day): Boys and Girls ages 7-12: This is a recreational camp for kids of all skill levels. Based primarily on enjoying the game, Coaches with youth experience will work with kids on all technical facets of the game. Kids should plan to learn, compete, and most of all have fun. The vast majority of campers would fit into this camp. If you register for Session A, you must bring your own lunch. We will provide small coolers in which to keep lunches but please pack accordingly. Campers must either bring their own ball or purchase one from camp.

SESSION B

Monday-Thursday, June 26-29, 9:00am–11:30am

Cost: $100.00 ($50.00 deposit required)

Youth Camps (half day): Boys and Girls ages 7-12: This is a recreational camp for kids of all skill levels. Based primarily on enjoying the game, Coaches with youth experience will work with kids on all technical facets of the game. Kids should plan to learn, compete, and most of all have fun. The vast majority of campers would fit into this camp. . Campers must either bring their own ball or purchase one from camp.

SESSION C

Monday-Thursday, June 26-29, 9:00am–2:00pm (bring your own lunch)

Cost: $200.00 ($100.00 deposit required)

Elite Youth Camp: Boys and Girls ages 7-12: Calvin's Elite Youth Soccer Camp is geared toward the more competitive player. Each entrant must have at least one year of club soccer experience. Coaches will look to introduce and develop more advanced technical and introductory tactical facets of the game. Kids should plan to come ready to develop their game and take it to the next level. You must bring your own lunch. We will provide small coolers in which to keep lunches but please pack accordingly. Campers must either bring their own ball or purchase one from camp.

SESSION D

Monday - Thursday, June 19-22; check in Monday 12-1pm, check out Thursday 12-2pm

Cost:
Overnight: $400.00 ($100 deposit required)
Commuter: $340.00 ($100 deposit required)

Elite College Prep Camp (Overnight or Commuter options) – Boys ages 13-18: The Elite Camps is a residential camp designed to provide players with exceptional training as they prepare, ultimately, for college soccer. Players will be divided by grade ability. Staff will include college assistant and head coaches and players. Elite camp players will be exposed to the next level of soccer and will be given the chance to compete in an exceptionally competitive camp atmosphere. Campers must either bring their own ball or purchase on from camp.

Coach will contact you no later than a week prior with information regarding times for commuters as well as packing information for overnight campers.

SESSION E

Friday, June 30, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Cost: $40.00 ($20.00 deposit required)

GooseEgg Goalkeeping Clinic - Boys and Girls ages 8-18: Goalkeepers of all skills levels are welcome to attend this clinic. Groups will be split by ability, not necessarily age, to help develop all goalkeepers in each and every facet of the position. Current Calvin Head Coach, and former professional goalkeeper and coach, Ryan Souders will work with each camper to not only improve, but enable them to develop on their own, after the clinic is over.

Registration details

Camp Registration & Payments

Mail-in registration will begin on Monday, April 3, 2017.  Any registrations postmarked prior to Friday, March 31, 2017, will go the end of the week’s registrations and will not be processed until Monday, April 10. 

If you wish to register by mail-in registration, payments may only be made by check.  No credit cards are accepted.

Please make all checks payable to Calvin College (specific camp)

Please make a separate check for EACH camp
(ex.: Calvin College Swimming, Calvin College Soccer, etc.)

All balances are due on the first day of camp.

Online registration will be available beginning Monday, April 3, 2017, at 9:00am EDT.  At this site, you may only pay electronically and the full payment is due with registration. 

Walk-in registrations will not be accepted until Monday, April 10, 2017.  Payments may be made by check or cash (exact change) ONLY.  Credit cards are not accepted in person.

Deposits/refund policy

There will be NO REFUNDS once your session of camp has begun.

There will be NO FULL refunds after Friday, June 9, 2017.

Registration convenience fees from online registrations are non-refundable.

If you transfer your child’s camp after registering, regardless of whether it is before or after Friday, June 9, 2017, you will be charged the online fee for registration as this is considered a separate registration by the registration service.

DEPOSITS, as indicated in the brochure, WILL NOT be refunded, transferred to another camp/section/time slot or transferred to another child after Friday, June 9, 2017, regardless of date of registration.

Location details

These camps will take place on Calvin’s campus at Zuidema Field and several practice fields adjacent to the soccer pitch. Meet the first day in the parking lot (Lot 7 – see campus map) of the Huizenga Tennis and Track building by the entrance to the soccer field & track. Participants will be told where to meet on the fields for the following days.
