Report available for the Greater Grand Rapids Survey of Congregations

The public may now read a comprehensive statistical report from extended survey interviews with 348 congregational leaders in the Grand Rapids urban core.

The Center for Social Research supported the Community Initiatives team of the Doug & Maria DeVos Foundation in conducting 348 interviews with pastors and other congregational leaders of churches in Grand Rapids, Kentwood, and Wyoming. The sample covers over 70% of the primarily Black and Hispanic congregations that were the focus of the study, and received responses from 65% of known congregations overall.
