CSR is thrilled to start presenting data collected in the Kent County Community Food Survey with the collaborators on this project who are so dedicated to social impact and better food and nutrition for our community. It’s been an incredible year-long team effort with Kids' Food Basket, The Kent County Essential Needs Task Force’s Food & Nutrition Coalition (ENTF), Heart of West Michigan United Way, Access of West Michigan and their community sites and partners, and the Michigan Health Endowment Fund. Additional funding was provided by Amway.

CSR’s Associate Director, Dr. Laura Pohler Luchies, is shown in the image walking through Tableau Software data visualizations. One of our Research Assistants at the time (now Research Specialist), Taylor Hartson, created an infographic detailing some of the main data points from over 1,000 community members’ survey responses.

We look forward to sharing next steps and plans for improved food services and programs as they become public in the coming months!
