Health & Wellness
The success of Calvin’s return to campus depends on continuing to cultivate our deep culture of care for every member of the community. We must be diligent—in every hour of every day and in each personal decision we make—to safeguard our own health and the health of others.
Calvin offers one cloth face mask (and other protective supplies when necessary) to each student and provides sanitation supplies throughout the community. Everyone is required to wear cloth face coverings (masks) in classrooms and in public spaces, especially anywhere they are not able to practice appropriate physical distancing.
Required Health Monitoring
Every member of the community should monitor their own health, conduct a health check, and use the #CampusClear app each day. If you do not feel well, do not attend class or report for work, and seek medical advice.
Recommended Annual Flu Shot
All students are strongly encouraged to receive their annual flu shot when it becomes available in the fall. This will help us maintain a healthier community and reduce the pressure on our campus and region’s medical systems. More information will be sent to students, faculty, and staff in the fall regarding the flu shot schedule.
Students, faculty, and staff are expected to abide by university measures to protect the health of our community at all times and will be held accountable for compliance.
