Coronavirus Information Center
Calvin University is closely monitoring the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Our top priority is the safety of the Calvin community.
We have made—and will continue to make—significant changes to university operations to safeguard our community. This website, which is regularly updated, contains the latest information about our response to COVID-19, the current state of operations, and FAQs.
We are planning a safe return to campus this fall, and members of Calvin University have taken a leading role in developing a playbook for private institutions in the state of Michigan, including Calvin, to use to guide re-opening efforts.
A partnership agreement with Helix Diagnostics guarantees we will have access to COVID-19 testing for all Calvin faculty, staff, and students as they return to campus.
In mid-May, we launched Operation Healthy Knight!, a health monitoring effort for all within the Calvin community as we prepare for the safe return of staff and students to campus.
If you are a student, faculty, or staff member of the Calvin community and are experiencing symptoms that may be linked to COVID-19, please make a report:
