Research Professor, Theology of Mission, Dean Emeritus at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School

He also served as president and dean of Faculté de Théologie Evangélique de l’Alliance Chrétienne in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa; and has taught at the Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. While pastor of a church in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, he founded and directed the Maranatha Institute. He is an active participant in numerous conferences and special lectureships and has contributed many articles to scholarly journals. He is the author of The Theological Task of the Church in Africa (African Christian Press, 1990), and recently was honored with a festschrift: Communities of Faith in Africa and the African Diaspora, ed. C. B. Essamuah and D. K. Ngaruiya (Wipf and Stock, 2014).
