Wondering what a career in business would look like?
The Calvin Young Women’s Business Institute is a selective, resume-building program for young women entering their junior or senior year of high school in the fall of 2021. Students will learn about business from professionals while discovering and developing their own strengths.
Due to the pandemic, we will be producing the Calvin Young Women’s Business Institute Virtual! By going virtual everyone will be able to participate safely and we will be able to include students, business leaders and guests from across the country. We're finalizing our plans for plenty of fun activities, campus and community tours, interactions with students and business leaders, and other valuable experiences for you to enjoy.
Dates: June 16-18, 2021
Application Deadline: May 17, 2021
- Interacting with professors and business leaders to learn business protocol and practice
- Networking with fellow participants and business leaders from companies such as Steelcase, Amway, Wolverine Worldwide, and Gordon Food Service
- Identifying and developing personal strengths, with assistance from certified Calvin University strengths experts
- Discovering what it means to be a Christian in business
