A hundred years after his death, the impact of Abraham Kuyper’s thought remains significant at Calvin and around the world. A panel sponsored by the Global Faculty Development Institute will return to his influential English-language Stone Lectures. Amid some parts that have not held up so well across space and time, what themes remain important for our work in Christian higher education? Historian Jim Bratt (author of a Kuyper biography), philosopher Young Ahn Kang, and Micah Watson from Political Science will offer perspectives on how these writings still connect with our thinking and our teaching. Refreshments will be provided.
