Southeast Asia is one of the earth’s most biologically rich and geologically complex regions. Many species are threatened and have yet to be discovered there. A phylogenetic study of Medinilla will test emerging biogeographic patterns and help revise the large and poorly understood plant group.

Join us as we welcome Peter Quakenbush, from Western Michigan University, as he leads us in this interesting topic for this week's "BioSem" seminar session.
