Those interested in the topics of mass incarceration, prison reform, or prison education are warmly invited to attend an event featuring Dr. Jason Sexton, a scholar, researcher, and theologian whose first form of undergraduate education was during his 3 years of incarceration in the California Dept of Corrections' Juvenile Division.

Join us Wednesday, October 13 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the East Willow Room of the Prince Conference Center at Calvin University. Dr. Sexton will present his research on the theological and scientific roots of mass incarceration. His presentation will be followed by a time of Q & A moderated by Todd Cioffi, Director of the Calvin Prison Initiative.

This event is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by the Calvin Prison Initiative, the Criminology Major, and the Hope-Western Prison Education Program.
