“How Artificial Intelligence Connects Bytes and Beliefs” - Artificial Intelligence (AI) is making remarkable strides in tackling difficult problems and spurring applications in many new areas. Will this new technology usher in a new age or pose an existential threat to our existence? Responses to these developments illustrate how preexisting beliefs inform our approach to AI. The talk will conclude by exploring how Christian beliefs can inform norms and principles for moving forward responsibly with AI.
