"Lessons of a 'Failed' Biologist" Guest Speaker: Jon Terry Au Sable Institute Friday, Feb. 15th, 2019 1:30p - 2:30p DeVries Hall 010 ("The Pit")

After graduating from Calvin with a biology degree, Jon Terry moved to Washington, DC, to pursue a career in politics and government.  He spent over 20 years serving youth and communities through leadership positions in the federal government, the nonprofit sector, and private consulting. In 2015, he returned home to northern Michigan and now works at the Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies.  In this seminar, he will share lessons from his career and an overview of his current work focused on serving, protecting, and restoring God’s earth.

What does it mean to be a "failed biologist"? Can you relate to Jon's story? Check out this interesting seminar to find out!
