Discover your path! College and high school students in the greater Grand Rapids community are invited to learn about a variety of environmental careers from professionals working in the nonprofit, government and business worlds. Panelists will speak about their current positions, academic and career paths, and will share advice with students wanting to work in the environmental field.

Our panelists this fall include:

  • Chris Christensen - Hydrogeologist at Michigan Dept. of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy
  • Robert Johnson - Regional Stewardship Organizer, Michigan Nature Association
  • Sheila Postmus - Naturalist with Outdoor Discovery Center Network, Calvin Class of 2014
  • Nick Sanchez - Conservation Easement Stewardship Specialist, Land Conservancy of West Michigan
  • Allyson Swanson - Wildlife Rehabilitator at Wildlife Rehab Center Ltd.

Networking and refreshments will follow the presentations and Q & A. Open to all college and high school students.
