Zwischen den Stühlen (2016)

Zwischen den Stühlen was awarded the Goethe-Institut’s Documentary Film Prize in 2016. According to the jury, “The film sensitively accompanies the progress of three trainees as they enter the teaching profession. The ideals of the protagonists are put to the test in the conflict area of modern educational concepts and everyday school life. Closely observed by the film, and without explanatory commentaries, the film shows how hard it is to put blueprints into practice.”
