Jellema Lectures

The Jellema Lecture Series is pleased to present Dr. Vincent Lloyd, of Villanova University, for the 2019 lectures.

These lectures will explore the implications of negative theology for Christian ethics. We can have much more confidence about who God is not, and what actions are ungodly, than about who God is or how Christians ought to live. The wisdom of the world, including ideologies of racism and sexism, gravely distort our perception and action, and Christian ethics must start with commending the virtues required to challenge such ideologies.

"An Error Theory of Christian Ethics"
Wednesday, March 27, 7:30pm, Meeter Center Lecture Hall

"Virtue Against Domination" Thursday, March 28, 3:30pm, Commons Annex Alumni Board Room
