Researcher Nate Haan will present an overview of his recent research into topics like plant-insect interaction and ways to redesign agricultural landscapes with biodiversity and climate change in mind.

Nate Haan is a research associate at Michigan State University. He focuses on biodiversity conservation and plant-insect interactions, and will give an overview of research projects he has led in recent years. These include several studies to learn about interactions between declining butterflies and their host plants, and research into how we could redesign agricultural landscapes in ways that conserve biodiversity, address climate change, and promote ecosystem services.
