Are you interested in a career related to social media? Strategic communication? Enterprise efforts? Have questions about career steps and goals for a young professional conservative woman? Wondering about the concepts of libertarianism and how that might fit with Christian faith?

Come to our next Career Breakfast and meet Jacqueline Isaacs, the co-founder of Bellwether Communications. She previously worked for the American Studies Program as their inaugural Fellow in Strategic Communication and holds her MBA from Johns Hopkins University, with a marketing concentration. Ms. Isaacs is the co-author of “Called to Freedom: Why You Can Be a Christian and Libertarian” which discussed why libertarian political thought may provide an alternative to the traditional Christian right.

Isaacs has worked in marketing and communications for a variety of non-profit research organizations and advocacy groups, including the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics and the National Rifle Association, and has contributed to research projects at the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, and The Catholic University of America’s Busch School of Business and Economics. She writes columns for several blogs and has been published in Investor’s Business Daily, The Daily Caller, and the American Spectator. You must reserve a place at this event – contact Ellen Hekman at elh4@calvin.edu and include your cell phone number. Breakfast is in the Political Science Department Conference Room (2nd floor of DeVos Communication Center in the Political Science Department Office) from 8 to 9 am on Wednesday, February 27.
