The Meeter Center has recently benefited from the generosity of Kate and Frans Van Liere, whose gift in memory of Kate’s mother, Thorne Tjader Elliot, made possible the acquisition of eleven new rare books from a vendor in Geneva-- including a beautifully illustrated Luther Bible. To celebrate this event, and to highlight our collection of rare books, we are planning a short talk and presentation followed by refreshments (of course!) on Wednesday December 4th at 3:30 pm, here in the Center on the fourth floor of Hekman Library. Join us!
